How to become a member

To become a member of the IBA, please download the Membership Form (Windows: right-click the link, or Mac: ctrl-click the link; select 'save link as...') and email the completed form to abby.smith@otago.ac.nz . There are no formal membership fees. But we still have expenses: software, bank fees, prizes and travel awards. The IBA council makes awards to help support research and/or travel of students and scientists without institutional support – this accounts for over 95% of our expenditure. Please consider making a donation to support the IBA.

Membership benefits include:

receive the IBA Bulletin,
receive regularily updated member listing (includes adresses),
abilty to be nominated for elected council positions,
Eligibility to apply for scholarships, such as support to attend IBA meetings
